Preschool teacher level 3
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a solid foundation for their education journey. If you have a love for working with children and are committed to their growth and development, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow all licensing regulations and guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Alberta ECE Certification
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
- Leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners
- Bilingual skills (English) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Knowledge of computer operations for instructional purposes
- Time management skills to effectively balance teaching responsibilities

On call educators
We are looking for a new educator to add to our team. This position will begin as a casual on-call position, covering current educator vacation and off time and will transition into a full time (12:00-6:00) position in the summer.
The right candidate will have experience working in a childcare setting, will have a flexible schedule, an early childhood certificate level 1, 2, or 3, and excellent references.
β’ All Candidates must be able to pass a police clearance with vulnerable sector search
β’ All candidates must complete CPR/First Aid course and provide a copy of the certificate
Job Types: Permanent, Casual
Salary: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 β 40 per week.
β’ This position will begin as a casual position and move into a regular 12:00-6:00 M-F position in the summer.
