About Little Wonders Academy in Calgary
We are a STEM-based Private Preschool in Calgary. We care for children from 19 months to 6 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school.
Who We Are
Little Wonders Academy got its start in Calgary from Amarjit Dhillon, a holistic health coach who’s been at the forefront of innovation for childcare nutrition. We decided to do things a bit differently by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where our little learners can explore the world around them.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on an emergent approach to learning that allows students to lead their own discoveries.
With a high focus on STEM, and high-quality nutrition, we ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math, and focus heavily on building all our scholars' reading skills early on, building a love and passion for all things literature and books, rather than phones. As well as provide all our scholars with the best quality foods and dietary plans to enrich their learning. Our hands-on courses foster curiosity and critical thinking, allowing kids to explore and build a strong foundation in all vital subjects.
By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we create a space where our scholars feel empowered and ready to learn.
